Risen Christ, "Come Unto Me" I was commissioned to sculpt a life size full-figure Risen Christ for a 12,000 member First Baptist Church in Florida. Based on my design sketch at left, the Christ figure will be 5'10" in height and float up 5" above his robe, making the overall height of the sculpture approximately 6'3". The finished bronze was installed between two fountains at the entrance of their lovely Memorial Prayer Gardens.
Below is a photograph of Karl, a wonderfully talented patina artist, applying a hot wax to the bronze Risen Christ. The lighting at the foundry is very yellow so it was difficult to get a good photo.
