I was commissioned to sculpt a portrait bust of Congressman Bill Thomas for installation in the new William Thomas Airport Terminal which is under construction and is being named in his honor. I recently took photographs and measurements of Congressman Thomas in his office sitting-room in the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Mr. Thomas has served as a Congressman for 28 years and is Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

I sculpted this finely detailed portrait bust in the style of the Vice-Presidential busts on display in the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.

It was a great opportunity for us to sight see while we were in Washington D.C. Here is the beautiful Capitol Building dome lit up at night.
