At left are photographs of the Elmer Hemphill bust in-progress. At this stage I still needed to finish sculpting his chest/suit and had more detailing to do on his hair.
This portrait bust was commissioned by the Hemphill Corporation to celebrate Mr. Hemphill's 50 years in business. What a beautifully fitting tribute! be
The clay bust is completed and now ready for molds, then casting and finely finishing in museum quality bronze. The bronze will be mounted on a polished black granite base and installed at the Hemphill Corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma on a beautiful pedestal by Chris Slater, Master Art Pedestals.
After Audrey Hemphill uncrated the finished bronze bust, she emailed me the following: Paula, "The
