In the beginning of Paula's prolific sculpting career, Slater designed and sculpted
fine art collectible lines for many prominent companies including the Walt
Disney Galleries,
Disney Dimensions,
United Design, NASCAR, Harley Davidson, Illusive Concepts,
Bronze Creations
and many other prominent companies, including the movie industry. This body of
more than 180 high end, finely detailed clay models has been
reproduced in bronze, pewter, resin, fiberglass and porcelain. Slater also
designed and sculpted her own high end bronze Royal Fantasy Egg
Collection.
These early
years of professional collectible sculpting enabled Slater to refine her craft
while developing her own unique sculptural style. Below
is a small sampling of those many sculptures--some photographs are
of her clay models, others are of the finished production sculptures.
