The Perfect Mask 30" Clay Model in-progress.
She's found the Perfect Mask so now she's off to the Royal Faerie Masquerade Ball. The Ball is held on each Winter Solstice eve, when Royal Faeries gather to celebrate the beginning of longer days and the promise that soon all of nature will once again be on display.
Luscious fancy patinaed bronze.

"Lady Melissa and the Perfect Mask" is the third sculpture in the Royal Faerie series.
She floats as light as a feather suspended above by her lovely ball gown.
"They hold their great Balls in the open air, in what is called a Fairy ring. For weeks afterward you can see the ring on the grass.... they make it by waltzing round and round. Sometimes you will find mushrooms inside the ring and these are Fairy chairs that the servants have forgotten to clear away." -- Sir James Matthew Barrie
